Choices

God placed the pair in Eden fair,
And walked and talked with them each night.
One tree was there, they could not share,
They had to choose "twixt" wrong and right.

They chose the wrong and soon the song,
They sang so sweet had turned to "din".
They had a voice and made the choice,
That plunged the human race in sin.

God sent His Son, His only One,
To dwell among mere mortal men.
Christ left His throne to save His own,
He chose to live as one of them.

He chose the right and on that night,
In the little town of Bethlehem.
To a world forlorn, a child was born,
And soon the song was sweet again.

Your life's portrayed by choices made,
While in the midst of toil and trial.
So choose the best and pass the test,
And give the world that friendly smile.

Choose then, this day, to live God's way,
Hold on to His unchanging hand.
The song you sing will sweetly ring,
And echo in your fellow man.
