I AM PERSUADED that Jesus died to save me.
That one day upon a cross He took my place.
I AM PERSUADED that a brand new life He gave me.
And He keeps me in His tender love and grace.
I AM PERSUADED that there is naught of earth can harm me.
That I rest secure in God's redeeming love.
I AM PERSUADED that my trials will not alarm me.
That He is daily watching o'er me from above.
I AM PERSUADED that He will gently guide me.
That as I walk, that He will firmly hold my hand.
I AM PERSUADED that He will safely hide me.
That in the shelter of His wings, I'll ever stand.
I AM PERSUADED that neither pain nor sorrow.
That death nor grave can ever hold their sway.
I AM PERSUADED that somewhere in God's tomorrow.
That there will always be a better, brighter day.
I AM PERSUADED that He'll come again in glory.
That someday, with shout, He'll split the eastern skies.
I AM PERSUADED that there I will forever sing Love's story.
For a crown of life He'll give as my prize.
I AM PERSUADED that if you will just believe it.
That what He's done for me He'll do for you.
I AM PERSUADED that if you will just receive it,
That He'll also give to you this life brand new.
